Step into a meaningful contract position supporting students across the K-12 spectrum in the eastern region of Monroe County. This onsite opportunity runs from August 31, 2026, to June 18, 2027, providing essential occupational therapy services within a dynamic educational environment. Working a full-time schedule of 35 hours per week, you'll collaborate with dedicated teams to help students with disabilities achieve their fullest potential.

Qualifications:

• Valid Michigan COTA or OT license (verification required upon application)
• Prior experience working in a school setting
• Demonstrated ability to support students with a wide range of disabilities
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Committed to fostering a supportive school environment
• Comfortable working with students in both Monroe and Mason Public School settings

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services tailored to individual student needs
• Conduct assessments and develop IEP-based goals in collaboration with educators and families
• Monitor and document progress, adjusting interventions as needed
• Support classroom modifications to maximize student participation and success
• Consult and train educators, staff, and families regarding therapeutic strategies and accommodations
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to ongoing program development
