Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Infection Control RN to join our team at Crown Park Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. As an Infection Control RN, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and safety of our residents by implementing and maintaining infection control practices throughout our facility. With a focus on quality care and compassion, we aim to provide an exceptional experience for our patients, residents, and their families.
Responsibilities:
Conduct surveillance and monitor infection control practices to identify areas for improvement
Develop and implement infection control policies, procedures, and protocols
Conduct training and education on infection control best practices for staff
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to reduce infections and improve patient outcomes
Collaborate with other departments to ensure a comprehensive approach to infection control
Maintain accurate records and reports of infection control activities
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments in infection control
Requirements:
Current RN license required
CDC Infection Control Certification (or must obtain shortly after hire)
Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills
Experience in a long-term care or hospital setting preferred
