Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift & Schedule: Day Shift 3x12 Hours (7:00 AM 7:30 PM) Call Requirement: 4060 Hours per 6 Weeks (Including Holidays)

Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Certified OR Surgical Tech (CST) Transplant Operating Room for an exciting Travel or Local job in Indianapolis IN.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare operating rooms for surgical procedures with proper instruments equipment and sterile supplies
Scrub and assist independently during liver transplant recipient and other complex surgical procedures
Maintain strict aseptic and sterile technique throughout all cases
Anticipate surgeon needs and provide instruments and supplies efficiently
Assist with patient positioning draping and surgical site preparation
Operate and troubleshoot surgical equipment including DaVinci XI robotic system
Collaborate with surgeons nurses anesthesia and OR team members
Perform instrument counts before during and after procedures
Ensure proper handling cleaning and sterilization of surgical instruments and equipment
Support multiple specialties including liver transplant general surgery urology thoracic gynecology plastics Whipple procedures liver resection and free flap procedures
Respond to on-call and holiday coverage as required
Maintain accurate documentation and comply with infection control and safety policies

Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program
Current CST certification (NBSTSA required)
Current BLS/BCLS certification required
Minimum 2 years of recent OR CST experience required
Strong recent experience in liver transplant surgeries required
Ability to independently scrub liver transplant recipient cases
Experience with large open belly and complex surgical procedures required
Strong knowledge of aseptic and sterile technique
Experience with robotic systems (DaVinci XI preferred)
Strong communication teamwork and ability to perform under pressure
