Demand Planner

Demand PlannerWe are looking for a Demand planner that will be responsible for developing and executing demand planning processes for our client that manufactures products for various well-known companies. This person would be responsible for creating and developing the forecasting model. You will align with key members of multiple departments to provide insight and continually improve pricing models. The ideal person will have the ability to work with Sales, Manufacturing, Procurement, warehousing, and additional operations teams to increase overall efficiency. If you are experienced in the Demand Planning world, please reach out to us to learn more about this opportunity with an industry-leading organization.Responsibilities: Demand PlannerCollect and review the Demand plan with main Account ManagersEnsure new products / phased in phased out / are properly reflected in the demand planMaintain demand plan to ensurethe customer demand is properly reflectedGenerate the Demand plan to the SKU level for the Production PlannerIdentify opportunities to meet customer demands during constrained supply.Identify areas ofimprovementand recommend action plans.Develop effective forecast models based on industry trends and demand patterns.Propose and implement solutions to improve demand forecast accuracy.Successfully communicate forecast estimations to management.Monitor and report on important changes in sales forecasts, budgets, andbusiness assumptionsLead demand plan meeting with Account Managers.Implement demand planning processes and systems aligned to the corporate global guidelinesMentor and train other Planners as needed.Support management with risk assessments and mitigation activities.Adhere to company rules and regulations.Reliable attendance is a must.Requirements: Demand PlannerBachelor's Degree in business, supply chain or relevant field.2+ years of related experience in demand planning/forecasting role.Or equivalent combination of education and experienceCPF Certification preferredExperience and/or knowledge of SAP preferred
