About Wavelynx
Wavelynx makes access control readers the hardware and firmware that decide whether a door opens.
Shift: 7 am - 3:30 pm M-F with potential for over time hours
Summary
The Shipping Assistant is responsible for coordinating incoming and outgoing shipments, including Wavelynx products/parts.
Duties
- Receive incoming shipments and verify the contents against the purchase orders
- Inspect and document any damages or discrepancies in shipments
- Unload and load trucks using a pallet jack or other equipment
- Sort and organize received items in designated storage areas
- Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, and labeling items
- Ensure accuracy of order fulfillment and proper packaging for shipment
- Maintain inventory records and update stock levels in the system
- Assist in conducting regular inventory counts and reconciling discrepancies
- Collaborate with other team members to optimize warehouse operations
Skills
- Experience operating pallet jacks
- Attention to detail and accuracy in order picking, packing, and labeling
- Proficiency in shipping and receiving processes
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and inventory management systems
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
- Strong organizational skills to maintain a well-organized warehouse
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members effectively
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times.
