A leading inpatient hospital is seeking a skilled Clinical Pharmacist for a 13-week contract position in Greenville, SC. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to patient care within a fast-paced hospital setting, providing expert pharmaceutical services on a well-structured 8-hour shift.

Location: Greenville, SC
Schedule: 8:30 AM – 6:30 PM pharmacy hours (8-hour shift)
Duration: 13 weeks
Start Date: Immediate availability preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage medication therapy for hospitalized patients, focusing on critical care and controlled substances
• Oversee quality assurance processes related to pharmaceutical services
• Collaborate closely with healthcare teams to optimize treatment plans involving drips and other critical medications
• Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and regulatory requirements
• Participate in training and complete assigned modules to stay current with hospital standards

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active South Carolina Pharmacist License
• 1-5 years of hands-on hospital pharmacy experience; candidates with 2+ years are preferred due to minimal training time
• Proficiency with electronic health record systems, specifically Epic, is highly advantageous
• Strong knowledge of intravenous drips, critical care medications, and controlled substance management
• Previous involvement in quality assurance initiatives within a hospital setting

Additional Information:
This contract assignment requires completing 1-2 full days of training modules prior to starting to align with facility standards. Candidates should be prepared to hit the ground running with little ramp-up time.
