Job Description
Title: Labor & Delivery Nurse

Schedule:
- Shift: 7 PM - 7:30 AM
- Varies; works every other weekend (Saturday/Sunday)

Assignment Details:
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 weekly

Requirements:
- License: Active nursing license
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and any specific certifications relevant to Labor & Delivery
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in Labor & Delivery nursing

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide care for patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum.
- Monitor and assess maternal and fetal health.
- Implement and manage patient care plans in collaboration with healthcare teams.
- Educate patients and families on labor and delivery processes and postnatal care.
- Assist in the delivery of newborns and provide immediate care as needed.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

Compliance / Notes:
- Background checks and drug screens required.
