Job Description

Analytics Manager, Healthcare Strategy Group, LLC, Louisville, KY:

Lead the development of scalable analytics infrastructure, including cloud data warehouse design and Tableau Cloud environment optimization, to support high-volume healthcare data processing and analysis. Design and implement automated ETL pipelines using SQL, Python, and cloud-based tools to streamline data ingestion, transformation, and delivery of large-scale healthcare datasets. Integrate machine learning models into analytics workflows, enabling predictive insights and advanced data segmentation. Conduct advanced statistical analysis and modeling using R, SAS, and Python to support internal initiatives and healthcare client engagements. Serve as a technical subject matter expert on HSG’s proprietary data processes, tools, and client-facing analytics products. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (data engineering, consulting, and leadership) to define data requirements, validate outputs, and ensure alignment with business and client goals. Implement robust quality control protocols to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with client specifications and healthcare data regulations including HIPAA. Mentor junior analysts and contribute to the design and development of new analytics products and enhancements, leveraging deep institutional knowledge and healthcare data expertise.

100% telecommuting permitted. Candidate may reside/work anywhere in the U.S.

Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Master’s degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, or another quantitative field and 3 years of related work experience. Alternatively, employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, or another quantitative field and 5 years of progressive post baccalaureate related work experience.

Must have 3 years of experience in each of the following:

• Developing and maintaining interactive dashboards and data visualizations, including integrating healthcare datasets into Tableau;

• Using Python for automated data processing and ETL pipeline development in cloud data warehouse environments;

• Writing complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and validation in relational databases and cloud-based data warehouses; and

• Managing and optimizing large healthcare data sets in cloud environments to support analytics.

Must also have 1 year of experience applying statistical analysis and modeling to healthcare data using Python, R or SAS.
