Clinical Nurse

As a Clinical Nurse at MD Anderson Cancer Center work within the Telemetry / Thoracic & Cardiovascular Surgery Unit, which provides care to individuals undergoing complex procedures such as esophagectomies, pneumonectomies, pulmonary resections, and vascular interventions. This role supports a high acuity environment where specialized post operative care and continuous monitoring are essential.

The ideal candidate brings a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, an active RN license, and at least 12 months of recent experience in a medical/surgical, telemetry, or ICU setting.

Minimum $68,000 Midpoint $105,200 Maximum $142,500 Shifts available are nights and days. Shift Hours: 7p 7a or 7a - 7p including rotating holidays and weekends required. There are 3 x 12 hour shifts for a total of 36 hours per week.

EDUCATION

• Required: Graduation from an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Preferred: Bachelor's Degree Nursing.

WORK EXPERIENCE

Other Requirements: All clinical nurses with less than one year of registered nurse (RN) work experience will be required to participate in the Clinical Nurse Residency Program.
