• No routine nights or weekends for most positions. - Bachelor's Degree in Accounting with CPA Certificate preferred
- Proficient in Excel and ability to learn additional software used by the company.
- Prepare, examine, or analyze accounting records, financial statements, or other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
- Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations, to project future revenues and expenses or to provide advice.
- Review reconciliations performed by other finance department staff.
- Assist Controller with financial audit preparations.
- Prepare periodic reports that compare budgeted costs to actual costs.
- Develop, implement, modify, and document recordkeeping and accounting systems, making use of current computer technology.
- Prepare forms and manuals for accounting and bookkeeping personnel.
- Survey operations to ascertain accounting needs and to recommend, develop, or maintain solutions to business and financial problems.
- Participate in Finance Department meetings.
- Participate in organizational Quality Improvement activities.
- Strong clinical acumen and ability to make sound decisions based on patient needs and guidelines
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients, providers, and colleagues
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism
- A proactive and collaborative team player with the ability to work independently when needed
