Operations Intern Position Summary: The Operations Intern will support various departments within the Renaissance Las Vegas Hotel during the summer of 2026. Students will gain experience in a fast‑paced hospitality environment. Responsibilities Effectively communicate with staff and guests, both verbally and in writing, in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service‑oriented manner. Listen to, understand, and clarify concerns raised by employees and guests. Multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines. Conduct hotel‑required meetings and trainings. Maintain regular attendance in compliance with scheduling requirements. Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including wearing the proper uniform and nametag. Comply with hotel standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient operations. Maximize productivity, identify problem areas, and assist in implementing solutions. Handle problems by anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving them as necessary. Understand and apply complex information and data from various sources to meet objectives. Cross‑train in other hotel‑related areas. Maintain confidentiality of information. Show initiative by anticipating guest or operational needs. Perform other duties as requested by management. Maintain a friendly and warm demeanor at all times. Qualifications High level of attention to detail and a strong work ethic. Direct involvement with management and employees; strong communication skills required. Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment; confidence to provide feedback to management and strong follow‑through. Flexible schedule and willingness to work all shifts, weekends and holidays.
