RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Provide care in a Level II Trauma Pediatric Intensive Care Unit
• Maintain 2:1 patient ratios
• Work with general cardiac monitoring equipment
• Use Meditech/CPN electronic medical record system
• Minimum 1 year current acute care hospital PICU RN experience required
• BLS and PALS certifications required
• CRRT experience preferred
• APHON certification preferred
• Pediatric teaching hospital experience preferred
• Perform IV starts, blood draws, and TPT placements
• Work collaboratively with intensivists, respiratory therapists, desk technicians, dietary staff, and case management
• Must work well under pressure in a teaching hospital environment
• Patient care experience is a priority
