Position Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

Location: Lansing, MI

Compensation: Up to $55.00/hour

Position Overview

We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) for an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) assignment in Lansing, MI. The ideal candidate will have recent ICU experience and the ability to provide high-quality critical care to patients in a fast-paced hospital environment.

The ICU RN will be responsible for monitoring critically ill patients, administering medications and treatments, collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, and responding quickly to emergency situations while ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety.

This role requires strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively under pressure.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to critically ill and high-acuity patients in the ICU setting.
• Continuously monitor patient conditions, vital signs, and cardiac rhythms.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as prescribed.
• Operate and monitor critical care equipment, including ventilators and cardiac monitoring systems.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation and charting.
• Respond effectively to medical emergencies and rapidly changing patient conditions.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and recovery processes.
• Follow hospital policies, infection control protocols, and patient safety standards.

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) License
• Minimum 1–2 years of recent ICU experience
• Current BLS Certification
• ACLS Certification required
• Strong critical care and patient assessment skills
• Experience working in acute care or hospital ICU settings
