Gardener/Landscaper - Seasonal

The Pelham House Resort is hiring a Seasonal Gardening Team Member!

Duties & Responsibilities:

Planting flowers, shrubs, etc.
Weeding beds
Mulching and raking
Cleaning and upkeep of planters, entrances, pool deck and upper decks
Ensure the watering flowers and plants on the grounds
Taking care of all groundskeeping supplies, tools and inventory
Keeping walkways clear
Taking on special landscaping or planting projects as deemed necessary
Other duties as assigned

Required knowledge, skills and abilities

Organization skills and ability to multitask
Ability to work well with others
Ability to work under minimal supervision
Excellent written and oral communication skills

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods walking or standing (up to 10 - 12 hours).
Must be able to workdays
Must be able to bend, stoop, and wipe frequently.
Must frequently be outside in the heat and cold temperatures.
Must be able to move lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds.
Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, reaching overhead, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity.
