MontanaTags.com is seeking an experienced, organized, and detail-oriented Vehicle Title & Registration Clerk to join our growing Montana operations.

We specialize in Montana LLC formation, vehicle titling, and registration services for clients throughout the United States . As we continue expanding our in-house processing capabilities, we are looking for someone who understands that title work requires accuracy, organization, accountability, and close attention to detail.

Position Responsibilities

• Review vehicle titles, MCOs/MSOs, bills of sale, lien documents, VIN documentation, and registration paperwork for accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare and process Montana title and vehicle registration applications.
• Verify ownership information, VINs, mileage, vehicle classifications, purchaser/seller information, and supporting documentation.
• Identify missing, inconsistent, or incorrectly completed documents before submission.
• Process title transfers, new registrations, permanent registrations, renewals, and other vehicle transactions.
• Work with automobiles, trucks, motorcycles, SXS/UTVs, RVs, trailers, boats, collector vehicles, and other vehicle types.
• Communicate professionally with customers and internal team members when additional documentation or corrections are required.
• Maintain accurate electronic and physical records and update customer files throughout the registration process.
• Coordinate with Montana state and motor-vehicle processing systems as required.
• Protect confidential customer, vehicle, and company information.
• Help maintain fast, accurate turnaround times as MontanaTags.com expands its in-house title and registration processing operation .

Qualifications

Previous experience with vehicle titles, registrations, dealership title work, DMV/MVD processing, county motor-vehicle offices, automotive dealerships, or a similar administrative position is strongly preferred.

The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, comfortable working with legal and government forms, proficient with computers and document-management systems, able to manage a substantial volume of files without sacrificing accuracy, and capable of identifying documentation problems before they become processing delays.

Knowledge of Montana vehicle titling and registration procedures is a major advantage.
