Role Overview

As a Contact Center Advocate I, you will be the voice of Henry Ford Health, scheduling patient appointments, managing registration and insurance updates, and responding to inquiries. Your role is crucial in ensuring patients receive timely and compassionate care, while advocating on their behalf to meet their needs. You¿ll work in a fast-paced environment, providing exceptional customer service and building loyalty with every interaction.

What You Will Do

• Schedule patient appointments for specified practice groups and multiple locations.
• Perform new patient registration and update registration and insurance information.
• Respond to telephone inquiries from all callers/customers with professionalism and care.
• Follow established protocols for prescription requests and messaging.
• Advocate on behalf of callers/customers to ensure their needs are met.
• Provide efficient and effective customer relationship management, instilling loyalty and anticipating needs.

What You Will Need

Qualifications

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Two years of customer service experience.
• Strong computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong listening skills and the ability to instruct others.
• Ability to make sound decisions and multi-task effectively.

Preferred

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in business or related field.
• Previous HFHS clinical/customer service experience.
