Clinical Staff Pharmacist

Job Summary:

We are looking for a qualified Clinical Staff Pharmacist to join our pharmacy team. In this role, you will collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize medication management and ensure the highest standards of patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and interpret medication orders to ensure safe and effective therapies.
• Provide medication counseling and education to both patients and healthcare staff.
• Monitor patient responses to medications and adjust treatments as needed.
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds, working with healthcare teams to develop comprehensive care plans.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff to maintain efficient operations.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical protocols and guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited institution.
• Current Ohio Pharmacy License or eligibility for licensure.
• Prior experience in a hospital pharmacy setting preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
• Strong clinical knowledge and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
