Job Description

Job Summary:
Conducts diagnostic imaging procedures using nuclear medicine techniques to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment. Ensures adherence to safety protocols and maintains high-quality imaging standards in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform nuclear medicine scans and procedures according to physician orders and established protocols.
• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals following safety and regulatory guidelines.
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment to ensure optimal image quality.
• Monitor patients during procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety at all times.
• Document procedures, findings, and patient information accurately in medical records.
• Adhere to safety standards to minimize radiation exposure for patients and staff.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Nuclear Medicine Technologist certification and state licensure.
• Possess at least 1 year of experience in radiology or nuclear medicine.
• Demonstrate proficiency in operating nuclear medicine imaging equipment.
• Exhibit strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
• Maintain current knowledge of radiation safety and healthcare regulations.
