2. Conduct regular inspections, swabbing, and calibration of equipment and facilities to ensure optimal operation and hygiene.
3. Troubleshoot any issues related to food safety and quality, taking swift and appropriate action to rectify problems.
4. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all inspections, tests, and corrective actions.
5. Collaborate with the production team to ensure the highest food safety and quality standards are consistently met.
6. Stay abreast of the latest industry trends, technologies, and regulatory changes related to food safety and quality assurance.
7. Provide training and guidance to other team members on food safety and quality assurance best practices. Qualifications: The successful candidate must possess the following qualifications: 1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the food manufacturing industry.
2. Extensive knowledge and experience with HACCP, SQF, or BRC, and other food safety and quality assurance standards.
3. Proven experience in inspection, swabbing, calibration, monitoring, and troubleshooting within a food manufacturing environment.
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
6. High level of attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
7. A degree or certification in food science, microbiology, or a related field would be advantageous.
