Landscape Installation Quality Control Technician

Position Overview
The Quality Control & Landscape Enhancement Specialist ensures that all commercial landscape projects meet company standards for excellence, safety, and client satisfaction while proactively identifying opportunities to improve and enhance client properties. This dual-focus role involves:
1. Quality Control – Conducting thorough site audits, evaluating project execution, and providing actionable feedback to teams and management to ensure consistent, high-quality results.
2. Landscape Enhancement – Identifying property needs (including seasonal color planning, turf health improvements, and landscape upgrades), recommending solutions, and collaborating with sales teams to strengthen client relationships and increase enhancement work and optional services.
This position plays a critical role in aligning field execution with the company’s core values of faith, family, growth, efficiency, safety, and excellence while driving both service quality and business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Control
Conduct regular site audits on landscape maintenance and enhancement projects to assess quality, safety, and adherence to client specifications.
Evaluate project execution, identify areas for improvement, and provide constructive, actionable feedback to teams and management.
Monitor turf conditions, identifying stress, disease, and weed issues, and provide recommendations to improve overall property health.
Monitor flower bed health, identifying fungi or weed issues, and provide recommendations to improve overall bed health.
Document findings with detailed reports, including photos and corrective action recommendations.
Collaborate with operations leadership to implement improvements, training, and best practices across teams.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols, environmental regulations, and company standards.
Landscape Enhancement
Conduct property walkthroughs to identify enhancement opportunities including:
Seasonal color changes and flower rotations
Turf health improvements and weed control recommendations
Landscape upgrades (trees, shrubs, bed design, hardscape accents)
Collaborate with sales teams to develop recommendations and proposals for clients.
Provide detailed documentation, photos, and suggested plans to support proposals.
Track enhancement opportunities and outcomes in Aspire.
Assist with client meetings and presentations as needed to support sales teams.
Work with marketing and operations to highlight enhancement services as part of overall client solutions.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Horticulture, Landscape Management, Business, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
5+ years of experience in commercial landscaping, project management, quality assurance, or client relations roles.
Strong knowledge of turf management, weed identification, and seasonal color planning.
Solid understanding of landscape installation, maintenance, and enhancement best practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to provide constructive feedback and build client relationships.
Strong organizational and reporting skills with attention to detail.
Ability to take initiative, work independently, and travel to multiple sites.
Proficiency with project management, CRM, and reporting tools.

Work Schedule: Monday - Thursday 6:30am to 5:00pm NOTE: As a salaried employee, your work hours/Days are structured on a completion-based schedule. This means that you are required to work until all assigned jobs for the day/week are completed, which could mean working weekend days in order to meet job completion requirements.
