Lecturer in Political Theory

Overview The Department of Political Science at UCLA seeks applications for part‑time lecturer positions during the 2026‑2027 academic year. We are looking for experienced candidates to fill part‑time positions teaching classes in Normative Political Theory. Responsibilities Responsibilities will include lecturing, conducting regularly scheduled office hours, and the writing and grading of exams. Ability to work cooperatively with other faculty and Department staff is essential. Qualifications Ph.D. in political science, or a Ph.D. Certificate of Completion by June 16, 2026. Actively engaged in political science research reflecting current disciplinary standards.
