Overview
Travel Registered Nurse – Med Surg, Atlanta, GA, United States. Start date 09/08/2026 for a 13-week assignment. Weekly pay range $1,656–$1,707 per week with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Shift: 12-hour day shifts, 3 days per week. Setting: acute-care hospital medical-surgical unit (32 beds) serving adult and older adult populations.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to adult and older adult patients on a 32-bed med-surg unit, maintaining a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio
- Assess patients, implement care plans, monitor progress, and adjust interventions as ordered
- Administer medications and IV therapies, including heparin drips, in accordance with order sets and safety protocols
- Perform accurate documentation and communication in the designated patient chart; Epic EMR is not used for this assignment
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate care, respond to clinical changes, and ensure patient safety and mobilization goals

Requirements
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Documented med/surg and telemetry experience
- Experience working with adult and older adult populations
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts, 3 days per week (32-bed med-surg setting)
- NICHE training or skilled nursing/rehabilitation experience is a plus
- Comfortable with acute care medications and routine monitoring on a high-acuity unit
