Registered Nurse – Operating Room

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 5x8-Hour Shifts (variable start times between 6:30 AM – 6:30 PM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an Operating Room setting throughout assigned shifts
• Utilize Epic electronic health record system for accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Float within the contracted facility or to affiliate hospitals nearby as needed
• Collaborate with surgical and perioperative teams to ensure safe patient outcomes
• Adhere to facility protocols, compliance requirements, and unit-specific standards of care

Required Qualifications

• Active, valid California RN license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Minimum of 1–2 years of Operating Room experience required
• Proficiency with Epic charting system
• Willingness to work 2 out of 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year
• Willingness to float to sister facilities nearby the contracted location
• 2 professional references covering at least 1 year within the last 3 years required prior to start

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in an acute care or surgical environment
• Familiarity with perioperative workflows and multi-facility healthcare systems
