This is a full-time day shift opportunity. This role requires participation in on-call rotation with a 40-minute response time and qualifies for competitive call and differential pay. This role is ideal for an experienced perioperative nurse who thrives in a team-oriented surgical setting and is passionate about delivering exceptional patient outcomes. Provides for patient needs as recognized through use of the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) and the mission statement; organization; supervision of care provided by supportive personnel and coordination of care provided by ancillary services. Including patients and significant others (SO)/families in developing an individualized plan of care. Education of patients/SO/families to their disease process and plan of care. Responsibilities include knowledge of all areas of care to Gastroenterology and conscious sedation with ability to perform patient assessments pre/post procedure. This position requires call. Diploma Nurses must have 5+ years of progressive care.
