Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity is available for a skilled Pharmacy Technician to contribute expertise in prescription processing and pharmacy operations in Somerset, NJ. This direct hire position is ideal for a dedicated professional aiming to make an impactful difference in patient care within a dynamic pharmacy environment.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately prepare and dispense prescription medications under pharmacist supervision
- Maintain detailed patient records and ensure confidentiality
- Assist pharmacists in managing inventory and ordering medications
- Educate patients on proper medication use and counsel on potential side effects
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to resolve prescription issues and clarify instructions
- Uphold pharmacy regulations and safety protocols at all times
