The Account Services Associate will provide support to the Commercial Insurance department. The ASA’s will participate in talent development courses that will prepare them for a career in a client service unit. Duties Assist in the new and renewal business process by: Entering data then verifying the data is accurate and conforms to established procedures. Completing and reviewing certificates as directed by the respective account team. Preparing auto identification cards for the respective account team. Fulfill daily certificate requests as required for each client by following Lockton’s quality procedures to ensure compliance. Obtain flood determinations as needed by unit for insured locations. Prepare correspondence and/or make calls to account team, certificate holders or clients as needed in a timely and professional manner. Save all correspondence electronically. Perform other work-related duties in accordance with detailed instructions from account team. Protect the confidentiality of information learned by performing the duties of the position. Qualifications Time Management and Organization: Uses a range of skills, tools, and techniques to manage time when accomplishing specific tasks, projects and goals; this includes planning, allocating, setting goals, delegation, analysis of time spent, monitoring, organizing, scheduling, and prioritizing Professionalism: Conducts oneself in a polite and respectful manner and demonstrates good judgment when dealing with internal and external clients Client Focus: Practices Lockton’s motto, “We Live Service,” while serving Clients’ needs, nurturing effective Client relationships, and contributing to the overall success and satisfaction of Lockton Reliability: Completes tasks and job functions on time, while meeting or exceeding expectations; carries a trusted reputation for dependability, honesty, consistency, and commitment. Communication: Expresses ideas clearly, listens effectively, shares information appropriately, demonstrates interpersonal skills, and resolves conflict as needed Requirements Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field and/or equivalent education or work experience. General understanding of commercial property/casualty coverages is preferred but not required. Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite. Strong attention to detail required.
