Details Med Surg unit within an acute and sub-acute care hospital setting Must be willing to accept telemetry patients as needed Night shift, 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM 36 hours per week schedule Weekend and on-call schedules to be determined by the facility 9-week assignment length Requirements Active RN license (MD or Compact) required at time of consideration Current BLS (AHA) certification required Current NIHSS certification required upon consideration Must be willing to obtain mRS/SIREN certification within 48 hours if offered Must be willing to complete Basic EKG test and score 85% or higher within 48 hours if offered Minimum 2 years of recent Med Surg/Telemetry experience required Minimum 2 years of experience working with stroke patients, documented on resume, required Previous travel nursing experience required Flu vaccination required; declinations not accepted COVID-19 vaccination required with state record documentation; declinations not accepted Must be willing to work the facility's set schedule without restrictions Additional Information Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care in accordance with professional nursing standards Accountable for quality of nursing services delivered by self or team members under direction Holiday coverage required for recognized holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day Local candidates accepted with no radius restriction and no rate change RTO requests limited to the equivalent of one week of contracted hours American Traveler Job ID P-765953.
