Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join our Maternal Infant Unit. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional care to expectant mothers and newborns during labor and delivery, as well as in the postpartum phase.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess the labor progress of patients.
• Provide care for patients during vaginal deliveries and C-sections.
• Manage antepartum patients and ensure proper newborn and postpartum care.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to create appropriate care plans.
• Utilize GE fetal monitors and Meditech EMR for patient documentation.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have at least 2 years of labor experience.
• Preferred: 2+ years of experience in a high-volume LDRP setting.
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Fetal monitoring certification.
