Employment Type: Part-Time, 28-35 hours per week (guaranteed 28 hours)
Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 1:00 PM - 7:00 PM, with occasional evening and weekend flexibility for date nights and dog sitting
Compensation: $30-35 per hour
Start Date: ASAP

About Our Family
We're a family of five navigating the beautiful chaos that comes with raising three school-aged kids. Our home is lively and full of energy—especially when you add our two dogs into the mix: a big, lovable golden retriever and a sweet little cavalier who thinks she runs the place.

Who You Are / What We're Looking For
You're the person who walks into a room and instantly understands what needs to happen next. You're organized, energetic, and genuinely enjoy the variety that comes with supporting a busy household—no task feels beneath you, and no challenge feels too big. You think like a project manager: you see what needs to be done, you create a plan, and you execute it without needing constant direction.
You're warm and engaging, especially with kids, but you also understand professional boundaries. You can read the room—you know when to jump in with energy and when to quietly get things done. You're proactive, not reactive. If you notice the pantry's running low, a light bulb is out, or a space could use some reorganizing, you handle it. You take pride in creating systems that work and leaving things better than you found them.
You're flexible and adaptable, but also incredibly dependable. You thrive in homes where every day is a little different, and you genuinely enjoy being the person people can count on. Bonus points if you're comfortable around dogs, love a good organizational challenge, and can stay calm and positive when things get hectic.

Key Responsibilities
Household Organization & Maintenance
- Create and maintain household organization systems
- Daily resets and prep home for cleaners
- Light tidying (dishes, surfaces, vacuum high-traffic areas)
- Seasonal swaps for clothing, décor, and bedding
- Prepare and coordinate donation drop-offs
- Event, holiday, and guest preparation
- Indoor plant care
- Change batteries, light bulbs, and smoke detectors
Family Support
- Pickups and drop-offs
- Light supervision and backup childcare as needed
- Date night coverage 1-2 times per month
- Kid-related errands such as picking up school supplies, birthday gifts, and other last-minute needs
Laundry & Linen Care
- Wash, fold, and organize laundry for the entire household, including linens
- Ironing and steaming clothing and bed linens
- Special garment care as needed
- Linen rotation and maintaining tidy, well-stocked laundry areas
Meal Planning & Prep
- Plan and prepare healthy meals and snacks
- Dinner three times per week (prep-focused: chopping vegetables, marinating proteins, preparing salads)
- Wash and cut fruit for grab-and-go containers
- Grocery shopping and restocking pantry and fridge
- Follow dietary needs/preferences (healthy)
- Kitchen cleanup and maintenance
Administrative & Calendar Support
- Manage household calendar and coordinate family schedules using Cozy app
- Event and appointment coordination
- Travel planning and logistics
- Receipt and budget tracking for household expenses
- Bonus: administrative assistance with family business
Inventory & Errands
- Restock pantry/fridge/household supplies
- Manage running household supply lists
- Returns, dry cleaning, and gift shopping
- Mail and package handling, including breaking down boxes
Vendor & Property Oversight
- Oversee cleaners/contractors/landscapers/vendors
- Research and coordinate repairs and quotes
- Seasonal property maintenance
- Manage outdoor spaces
Deep Cleaning & Special Projects
- Organizational projects (gear, basement, closets)
- Oversee cleaners to complete occasional deep cleans (fridge, oven, baseboards)
- Refresh garage/mudroom/entry
- Clean humidifiers/air purifiers
Pet Care
- Schedule vet and grooming appointments
- Maintain pet supplies
- Occasional feeding and letting dogs out
