Associate Veterinarian

Job Description

Job Description

Lead Veterinarian
Denver, CO | Privately Owned Small Animal Hospital

We're partnering with a well-established, privately owned small animal hospital seeking a Lead Veterinarian who wants to help shape the future of an already respected practice.

This is an opportunity for a veterinarian who enjoys leading by example, mentoring others, and influencing the direction of a hospital—while still spending the majority of their time practicing medicine.

You'll have the autonomy to make meaningful clinical decisions, work alongside an experienced support team, and help foster a culture centered around collaboration, high-quality medicine, and exceptional client care.

• Established, privately owned small animal hospital
• Leadership opportunity with real clinical influence
• Collaborative multi-doctor environment
• Strong technician utilization and experienced support staff
• Modern diagnostic equipment and digital imaging
• Flexible scheduling with an emphasis on work-life balance
• Loyal client base that values quality medicine
• Opportunity to mentor doctors and help shape hospital culture
• Clinical autonomy with support from engaged ownership

We're looking for a veterinarian who enjoys helping others succeed just as much as practicing great medicine.

Whether you've already served in a leadership role or you're an experienced clinician ready to take that next step, we're looking for someone who values collaboration, communicates well, and wants to build something long-term.

• Competitive base salary
• Leadership compensation
• Production opportunities (where applicable)
• Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits
• Continuing education allowance
• Paid licensing, dues, and professional memberships
• Generous PTO
• Additional leadership support and professional development

If you're even selectively open to learning more, we'd be happy to have a confidential conversation, answer your questions, and determine whether there's a mutual fit before introducing the hospital.

This position is being represented confidentially by Aeries Recruiting on behalf of a privately owned veterinary practice. Additional details will be shared with qualified candidates during the interview process.
