Direct Support Professional (Youth)

At Kerr's youth group homes, we support and empower individuals with the goal of helping them thrive as they lead self-determined lives within their communities.Every person is unique, so job duties vary. Common tasks involve help with medications, cooking, dressing, personal hygiene and cleaning. A typical day starts with preparing medications and waking up the kids. You’ll help them get ready for school or a day of activities. There are after school outings/activities, such as going swimming or to a local park. At night, you’ll help them with chores, dinner, personal hygiene and getting ready for bed. For fun, some enjoy video games, art or anime (cartoons) while others play sports.
