Shipper

As part of your role, you will use a variety of equipment, such as saws, banding and other packaging equipment, pneumatic staple guns, box closers/cutters, and hand tools, to package products for shipment. This diversity of skills is a crucial aspect of the role. You will work with a Forklift, Hand Truck, and/or Pull Truck to arrange for the transportation of products; you may also use an overhead crane. Additionally, you will ship and receive warehouse duties following established procedures. Responsibilities:Loads products, parts, or merchandise into designated packages, boxes, or crates. May operate machines preparing products for shipment, use of labels, and UPS LTL shipment programs. Review packing lists to ensure all required items are included, and pack containers using foam, plastic, or other materials. Handles material and products to maintain appropriate flow through production areas. Documents incoming and outgoing materials and supplies.
