This full-time, full school year role is ideal for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) eager to provide essential services in an educational setting. Working as an itinerant professional, you’ll support students across approximately three locations, engaging with individuals who have a range of needs, from mild to severe. You will receive guidance and supervision from the district, ensuring a collaborative and supportive environment.

What you’ll bring:

• Active COTA license in Arizona
• IVP Fingerprint Card (or eligibility to obtain prior to start)
• Experience providing occupational therapy services within school settings preferred
• Willingness to travel between multiple sites as part of your everyday routine
• Passion for helping students achieve their functional and academic goals
• Ability to work independently while being an effective partner with supervisors, teachers, and families

In your daily responsibilities, you will:

• Deliver direct occupational therapy interventions and support in accordance with students’ IEPs
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to ensure continuity of care
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Adapt activities to meet diverse learning needs
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
• Take part in ongoing professional development and training opportunities
