Licensed Vocational Nurse

Participate in planning and implementing care in conjunction with the RN. Provide care utilizing infection control measures that protect both the staff and patient. Assure continuity of quality patient care delivered with appropriate documentation. Prepare regular clinical/progress notes and summaries. Assist the patient with the activities of daily living while teaching appropriate self-care techniques. Provide and maintain a safe environment for the patient, including an optimum physical and emotional environment. Maintain client confidentiality. Follow emergency procedures in the event of any catastrophic event, incident, e.g., accident, injury, or significant change in the patient's condition.QualificationsGraduate of an accredited school of vocational nursing, proof of current LVN license, proof of current CPR certification, ability to work flexible schedule, minimum 1 year experience as an LVN in a clinical setting preferred, excellent interpersonal skills, bilingual preferred. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
