You are at the heart of health.Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit (CTICU) RN'sOur Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit (CTICU) RN's:Recover, assess, monitor, administer medication, document progress, and manage overall care for patients who have undergone open-heart surgeryPartner with an interdisciplinary team including, but not limited to, attending physicians, registered nurses (RN), and ancillary staff to optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction.Cross-train between the Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit (CTICU) and the Intermediate Care UnitAdvocate for and build meaningful relationships with patients and their loved ones through safety intervention, emotional support and education.What you'll bring:Passion for the CTICU1+ years of experience in a Critical Care Unit (CCU, ICU, CTICU, CVICU, etc.), experience with open heart patients a plus1+ years cardiac step-down experience preferredEducation: Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) degreeWill consider Associates Degree if enrolled in an accredited BSN programLicensure: New York Registered Nurse (RN) License & RegistrationCertification: Basic Life Support (BLS) required, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required, Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) preferred*New Grads hired for this role will be entered in a residency program.Posted Salary RangeUSD $56.39 - USD $77.34 /Hr.This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience.
