Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough clinical assessments to develop personalized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.
  • Utilize a variety of therapeutic interventions including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) to support client needs.
  • Maintain meticulously detailed clinical records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and relevant ethical standards.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to enhance client care quality.
  • Participate in regular case consultations and peer review meetings, contributing to continuous improvement in treatment approaches.
  • Educate clients and their families about mental health issues, treatment options, and community resources to empower their journey toward recovery.
  • Stay abreast of the latest research and advancements in mental health practices, incorporating new knowledge into your practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clientele primarily consists of individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health challenges. You will play a crucial role in guiding these clients through their therapeutic journey, employing a client-centered approach to tailor interventions that meet their unique needs and circumstances.

Qualifications

  • A Master’s degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • An active license to practice as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in Illinois.
  • Profound knowledge of solution-focused psychotherapy interventions and the ability to adapt to the evolving needs of clients.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and critical thinking abilities to devise innovative solutions to complex client issues.
  • A commitment to working within a collaborative team environment that values open communication and mutual support.

Preferred Experience

  • Previous experience working in a mental health counseling role, preferably in a telehealth or remote setting.
  • Expertise in additional therapeutic modalities or certifications related to mental health treatment.
