A Cardiovascular Cath Lab RN opportunity is available in Anchorage, AK at a 250-plus bed regional hospital recognized with 5-star ratings for heart attack treatment, bowel obstruction treatment, and colorectal surgery. The role. Working in a 3-room Cath Lab that averages 4–6 procedures per day, the Cardiovascular Cath Lab RN provides direct nursing care across a broad range of invasive cardiac, vascular, and interventional procedures — including cardiac catheterizations, coronary interventions, EP device and ablation therapies, interventional radiology, neuro diagnostics and interventions, endovascular procedures, and structural heart procedures such as LAAC and TAVR. The nurse guides each patient through every phase of the procedure, from transport and site preparation through sterile technique, patient monitoring, hemostasis following catheter or sheath removal, and return to room, including management of emergent cases. The role requires demonstrated competency in circulating, monitoring, and sedation medication administration, including mixing sedation drips. Accurate and timely documentation of all procedures and preparation of tests for physician interpretation are core responsibilities, as is using the SBAR process to facilitate clear hand-off communication across the interdisciplinary team.

What we're looking for.

• Current nursing license in good standing; Alaska RN license required
• Associate's Degree in nursing required; bachelor's preferred
• Minimum 3 years of Cath Lab experience, or minimum 5 years of experience in a high-acuity setting (e.g., ICU)
• Experience with circulating, monitoring, and sedation medication, including mixing sedation drips
• American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification
• American Red Cross or American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certified (ACLS)

Schedule. Full-time, 12-hour shifts, 7:00 a.m.–7:30 p.m., with weekend and holiday call; candidates must be available to respond on-site within 30 minutes and should expect approximately 8–10 call days per 4-week period.

Compensation. $38.79 - $56.74/hr plus Sign-on bonus available
