College/Department Overview The College of Mathematics and Science currently has 135 full-time and over 70 part-time faculty in 7 academic departments. The College serves more than 3,600 undergraduate students in 26 majors and provides graduate programs in Biology, Applied Mathematical Science, Applied Mathematics and Computer Science, Computational Science, Computer Science, Engineering Physics, and Nursing. Accreditation/Certification is held by ABET, the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), the American Board of Funeral Service Education, and the American Chemical Society. For further information see our website at Department Specific Essential Job Functions Duties include teaching day/evening undergraduate courses in information technology, computer science, and/or software engineering. Experience Required Possesses at least a master's degree in the field specified in the position announcement (exceptions require Academic Affairs approval). Possesses excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Experience Preferred Master's Degree in Computer Science or a related field is required. Doctorate degree and Higher-Education teaching experience are preferred.
