Charge Emergency Room Registered Nurse

This position requires an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse. The role will involve floating between units and covering charge shifts as needed. Weekend shifts are required every other weekend. Candidates must possess various certifications, including ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC. Responsibilities include managing patients with diverse conditions, including trauma and acute illnesses. Team collaboration is essential, working alongside interdisciplinary support. Strong communication skills and the ability to manage complex situations are crucial. Candidates should be prepared to handle emergency procedures and maintain patient safety. Candidates must also be proficient in the electronic charting system used in the facility. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Each shift will involve a significant focus on patient assessment and intervention skills. A commitment to providing high-quality care to all patient age groups is expected. The successful candidate will demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in their approach to nursing.
