This role blends in-shop sign fabrication, painting, and finishing. Some days you'll be working with machines like the laser or Zünd cutter, and others you'll be in the paint booth. If you're ready to take pride in craftsmanship, collaborate with a supportive team, and help businesses visually communicate—this is the place for you.ResponsibilitiesOperate fabrication equipment including laser engraver, Zünd (router), laminator, and vinyl cutterPrepare substrates, assemble signs, apply pressure-sensitive vinyl, and perform finishing operationsPrepare and paint various materialsLoad/unload, package, and stage materials for production and installMaintain a clean and organized workspace and toolsTroubleshoot, maintain, and report on equipment and inventoryEnsure quality control and accuracy throughout the production and installation processFollow safety protocols and operate tools and vehicles responsiblyCollaborate with team members to meet deadlines and exceed customer expectationsQualificationsAdvanced knowledge of sign fabrication tools, including CNC machines.Advanced knowledge and experience in sign materials, fabrication and finishing methods and processes.Advanced knowledge of power tools, hand tools, and general construction techniquesStrong attention to detail and quality craftsmanshipProblem-solving mindset and ability to manage workload independentlyGood math, spelling, and measurement skillsAbility to read and interpret work orders and installation instructionsMust have a valid Texas driver's license and clean driving recordAbility to lift 75+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasksMust have relevant previous experience in the sign and graphics industry.Physical RequirementsAbility to kneel, stand, and lift for extended periodsAbility to work outdoors in various temperatures and weather conditionsWhy Join Us?Competitive pay with overtime opportunitiesHealth, dental, vision, and supplemental insurance availablePaid Time Off (PTO) and holidaysOngoing training and professional developmentWork with a local, independently owned business backed by a global brandSee your work displayed all around your communityCompensation: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour At FASTSIGNS, every day is unique and presents exciting opportunities, including new ways to use your talent and grow your skills.
