Assessment Specialist RN - Intake

This is a 13-week contract position.

Shift: 3:00 PM to 3:30 AM, Friday to Sunday. Weekly guaranteed hours: 36.

We are seeking a compassionate and proactive Assessment Specialist RN for the Intake department. This role involves recognizing mental health as an illness and caring for a diverse patient population aged 18-99, including individuals experiencing detox, depression, and psychosis. The successful candidate will be comfortable working with patients, unbothered by their comments, and will exhibit a deep compassion for mental health issues.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct patient assessments and evaluations.
• Manage intake processes effectively.
• Coordination of care for patients in the mental health spectrum.
• Maintain patient records and documentation.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• 1 year of nursing experience.
• RN license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Handle With Care (HWC) certification.
