Small Engine Mechanic

Co. is looking for a dependable Small Engine Mechanic to maintain and repair a variety of power equipment used in the construction industry. If you take pride in quality workmanship and enjoy solving mechanical challenges, we'd love to hear from you.
What You’ll Do
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues on small engine equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and preventative service.
- Repair gasoline and diesel-powered equipment, including small engines and related components.
- Troubleshoot hydraulic, fuel, ignition, and electrical systems.
- Replace worn or damaged parts and complete necessary adjustments.
- Keep accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Communicate with supervisors regarding equipment status and repair needs.
- Assist with other shop duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Experience repairing and maintaining small engine equipment.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Knowledge of gasoline and diesel engines.
- Ability to read service manuals and repair documentation.
- Ability to safely lift up to 75 pounds.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record preferred.
- Self-motivated with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
