Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner (Primary Care)

Patient Population : Approximately 18 patients per day on average
Patient Volume : Approximately 18 patients per day on average

Additional Compensation

• $15,000 Sign-On Bonus
• Up to $5,000 Relocation Assistance
• Additional compensation for Saturdays and extra patient-contact hours

Schedule

• 4-day work week
• 8 AM - 5 PM
• Includes one 8-hour administrative day
• Rotating Saturday coverage (8 AM - 12 PM)
• Shared after-hours call rotation

Position Overview


We are seeking a dedicated Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join a well-established outpatient primary care practice serving a rural community. The provider will deliver comprehensive care to patients across the lifespan, from pediatrics to geriatrics.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care services
• Conduct patient assessments, histories, and physical examinations
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and lab work
• Develop and manage treatment plans
• Prescribe medications and provide patient education
• Perform minor office procedures
• Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Participate in quality improvement and patient engagement initiatives

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
• Active New York State PA or NP license (or eligibility)
• Board Certified / Board Eligible
• BLS Certification required
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Experience

• Experience preferred
• Strong new graduates with prior clinical or critical care experience may be considered
