Your Role in Healthcare

• Conducting thorough patient evaluations, ordering necessary diagnostics, and developing tailored care strategies
• Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic health issues independently or in collaboration with physicians (based on your credentials)
• Guiding patients and families on wellness, prevention, and disease care
• Prescribing medications and treatment plans within your professional scope

• Accurately documenting patient information within electronic health records (EHR)

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Credentials Needed

• Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in Florida
• National policy certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or a relevant specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or capable of attaining them within 90 days)
