We are an RCVS accredited 24-hour Small Animal Veterinary Hospital and Advanced Clinical Services centre. Life at PetMedics: PetMedics is a large veterinary hospital, staffed by a truly superb clinical team of 37 veterinary surgeons, 41 nurses and a supporting team of PCAs, receptionists, administrative staff and an ambulance team. We have a large waiting room with a separate cat waiting room area. We are proud to have been awarded the GOLD status for being a Cat Friendly Clinic and the SILVER Rabbit Friendly status. Our facilities include - 4 theatres, 6 consulting rooms, an intensive care ward, separate cat and dog wards, an exotics ward, an isolation ward, a digital X‑ray, a CT scanner, several ultrasound scanners, endoscopy, laparoscopy, mechanical ventilation, and an extensive in‑house laboratory. No two days will be the same, you will: Be passionate about delivering exceptional care to both our patients and their owners every day. Support the outcome of patients care in all aspects of clinical work as part of the team. Ensure Quality is maintained by keeping our practice in excellent condition- ensuring quality of care and the best possible outcomes for every patient Learn, develop and grow with us , taking advantage of ongoing training and development opportunities offered by CVS and our practice. Communicate with confidence, use your exceptional communication skills—both written and verbal—to build strong, lasting relationships with colleagues, clients, and the pets they love. Salary and Hours: Salary up to £22,000, depending on experience. The annualised hours will be around 1,000 hours per year which works out on average 2 shift per week for holiday cover. These shift will vary between 3pm‑1am, 4pm‑3.30am and 7pm‑6.30am with icu duties included. This role will also include weekend day shifts between 6am‑3.30pm/7am‑4.30pm.
