We are excited to continue our partnership with a supportive district that is looking for a Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming school year. This role offers strong team collaboration and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students. In this role you will support the district's center-based program, supporting middle school through transition-aged students with significant disabilities. Ideal candidates will be comfortable working with students requiring higher levels of support and have familiarity with AAC (high tech and low tech devices).

Responsibilities

• Provide full-time speech and language therapy services, Monday-Friday.
• Conduct evaluations, develop individualized educational plans (IEPs), and implement evidence-based interventions to address speech and language developmental needs.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, parents, and other related service providers to support students' communication skills across both classroom and individual settings.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions, progress reports, and communication with stakeholders.
• Utilize IEP system for management and compliance.
• Participate in team meetings, professional development, and ongoing training opportunities.
• Enjoy a dedicated office space for therapy sessions and planning.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology (or in the process of completing).
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Michigan (LARA).
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA, or eligibility to obtain CCC-SLP.
