Responsibilities Include Assisting veterinarians with examinations, diagnostics, and treatments Educating clients on preventive care, treatment plans, and overall pet wellness Placing IV catheters and collecting diagnostic samples Calculating and preparing medication dosages accurately Administering medications and treatments as directed Performing and interpreting basic cytology preparations Monitoring anesthesia and patient vital signs during procedures and recovery Preparing patients for surgery and assisting during surgical procedures Performing dental cleanings, dental radiographs, and related procedures Positioning patients for diagnostic radiographs, including musculoskeletal studies Triaging and stabilizing urgent and emergency cases Performing CPR when needed Maintaining accurate medical records Ensuring proper maintenance of equipment and treatment areas Demonstrating initiative and contributing positively to team culture What We’re Looking For Minimum of 5+ years of veterinary technician experience Experience in a full‑service general practice, emergency, specialty hospital, or a combination of these settings Strong technical and critical‑thinking skills Excellent communication and client education abilities Ability to remain calm and efficient in a fast‑paced environment Self‑motivated, dependable, and team‑oriented Credentialed technicians are encouraged to apply.
