Job Description
Assembler III
Be the Connection Behind Every Custom Build
As an Electrical Assembler III , you are the expert behind the electrical systems that bring GFS equipment to life. Using wiring diagrams, blueprints, and your technical expertise, you'll build and wire electrical panels, install conduit and components, and ensure every system is assembled accurately and safely. Working closely with engineering and production teams, you'll help deliver high-quality custom equipment that powers the finishing solutions our customers rely on every day.
If you take pride in craftsmanship, enjoy solving technical challenges, and thrive in a hands-on manufacturing environment, this is your opportunity to make a direct impact on every project that leaves our facility.
What Success Looks Like
- Bring complex electrical systems to life by building and wiring custom control panels and equipment according to detailed prints, schematics, and specifications.
- Take ownership of electrical installations on a variety of GFS products, including heater boxes, paint kitchens, and batch burn-off ovens, ensuring quality and accuracy every step of the way.
- Install and route conduit systems, pull and terminate wiring, and verify assemblies meet customer requirements and industry standards.
- Partner with engineering and internal teams to identify quality concerns, troubleshoot issues, and contribute ideas that improve products and processes.
- Serve as a technical resource for less experienced assemblers, sharing knowledge, mentoring teammates, and helping elevate overall team performance.
- Champion safety, quality, and continuous improvement while maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient work area.
- Play a key role in delivering custom-built solutions that help customers operate safely, efficiently, and productively.
Qualifications That Shine
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 4+ years of manufacturing, electrical assembly, industrial wiring, or related experience.
- Associate Degree in Electromechanical Technology or a related field preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical documentation.
- Working knowledge of UL and NEC codes and industry wiring standards.
- Experience with conduit installation, wire routing, wire termination, and electrical panel assembly.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a focus on quality and accuracy.
- Demonstrated commitment to process improvement and continuous learning.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across departments while supporting and mentoring team members.
- Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
