Certified Medical AssistantWe are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our team. As a CMA, you will play a vital role in providing support to healthcare professionals, ensuring the smooth operation of medical facilities, and delivering high-quality patient care. Patient Care:Assist healthcare providers in performing various medical procedures and examinations.Obtain and record patient vital signs, height, weight, and medical history accurately.Prepare patients for examinations and procedures, ensuring their comfort and well-being.Administer medications and treatments as directed by healthcare providers.Educate patients about their medical conditions, treatments, and preventive measures.2. Administrative Duties:Greet patients, schedule appointments, and manage patient flow within the medical facility.Maintain electronic health records (EHR) accurately and confidentially.Handle patient inquiries, phone calls, and correspondence professionally and efficiently.Coordinate referrals to specialists and other healthcare facilities as needed.Manage medical supplies and equipment inventory, ensuring availability and proper functioning.3. Clinical Support:Assist with minor surgical procedures and wound care.Perform routine laboratory tests and collect specimens for analysis.Prepare and sterilize medical instruments and equipment.Perform electrocardiograms (EKGs) and other diagnostic tests as required.Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment.4.
