Leasing Specialist

Lighthouse Storage is seeking a highly organized, customer-focused Leasing & Property Manager to oversee the day-to-day leasing operations for our Biz Bays and Trademark Properties. This is a hands‑on role for someone who enjoys building relationships, staying organized, and ensuring every resident has an exceptional experience from application to move‑out. As the Leasing & Property Manager, you will be responsible for managing the entire leasing lifecycle while maintaining high occupancy, delivering outstanding customer service, and ensuring smooth daily operations. Responsibilities Manage all apartment and Biz Bay leasing activities from inquiry through move‑in. Conduct property tours and answer questions from prospective tenants. Process rental applications, perform screenings, and prepare lease agreements. Coordinate lease renewals and maintain resident retention. Manage move‑ins and move‑outs, including inspections and documentation. Guide new tenants through the onboarding process, including utility setup, internet providers, and other move‑in requirements. Maintain accurate tenant files and lease records. Respond promptly to tenant questions and resolve concerns professionally. Coordinate with maintenance to ensure units are move‑in ready and work orders are completed. Track vacancies and help develop marketing strategies to maintain high occupancy. Collect required documentation and ensure compliance with company policies and Fair Housing regulations. Monitor lease expirations and proactively communicate renewal options. Maintain a clean, welcoming office and professional property appearance. Assist with administrative tasks, reports, and other property management duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous experience in leasing, property management, customer service, or sales preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational and time management abilities. Comfortable using computers, Microsoft Office, and property management software. Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast‑paced environment. Professional appearance and positive attitude. Problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
